Acting was how I got in but then they discovered I had extensive tech background so I ended up as board op on many productions as well as scenic artist on Night of The Iguana and The Crucible designed by Jim Youmans.
Served as Production tour manager/Stage Manager for The Lincoln Center Student program responsible for moving all productions: orchestras, opera company and ballet company cast crew and all materials twice a day, 5 days a week throughout the 5 boroughs of New York and Fairfield County of Connecticut. Also responsible for evaluating all the schools, faculty and student preparedness for each production and reporting those findings back to Lincoln Center.
Board Op and ASM on several productions based at the Women's Interart Theatre in New York.
Tech Director for 7 years responsible for designing lighting, mixing the sound and sometimes adding special effects for productions. (I designed over 3,000 in those 7 years.
Sound and Lighting Designer for the International Accapella competition as well as various stand up comedy one person shows.
Original Lighting Designer and Sound mixer as well as Equity Stage Manager and cast member for original musical - Obie Nomination for Tech.
